The new strip is still in penciled form; I’ll start inking it tonight and probably upload it tomorrow night or Friday. In the mean time, check out the new Towne Pub Forums that use the PHP BB2 software.
“Why new forums?” you ask. Well, this software is the most popular (freeware) message board software. It’s very well supported, and highly customizable. It also uses Pub’s very own mySQL database as a backend, which means it’s more stable, reliable, and gets backed up frequently.
Right now the old forums are still available through the links all over the site, but we’re going to be switching over to the new forum software soon. Dave and I are going to try to do out very best to get things working just as soon as we possibly can, and we’re going to try to port user accounts and old posts to the new forums, but that may prove to be extremely difficult, if not impossible.
In the mean time, please head on over to register and check out the forums. The current color scheme (which mimics the colors on this page) has been described by one user as “offensive”, so you should be looking forward to that (trust us; it’s only temporary).
