I’m a secretive guy. I like to keep major plot points in the TP storyline under wraps. I bet none of you guess that the the latest strip would introduce a new character to the Salad Days storyline.
I can’t tell you who she is, or what kind of role she’ll play. What I can tell you is that one of the reasons this last batch of strips took me so long to produce is that I spent a fair amount of time thinking about her and designing her. One thing that is not a secret about Towne Pub is that I suck at drawing women. I wanted to make sure that I could design a female that I was capable of drawing, was not hideously deformed looking, and would at the same time look like a Towne Pub character. I think I accomplished that.
There is another big reason why this batch took a while to crank out, and you’ll see what that is in the next installment. For now, though, take a look at the new strip and enjoy.
