Dave and I are sick and tired, though not necessarily in that order. You see he’s come down with a nasty case of the common cold, and I’ve come down with a nasty case of artist’s block. My problem is that I’ve got to figure out a way to have Savage standing around talking to himself for 3 or 4 more strips without resorting to a talking-heads approach. I think I’ve done a bang up job of it for the last nine strips that we’ve posted in the last 10 days, but I’m running out of steam.
What am I gettng at exactly? Well, I promised that something would go up every day for 12 days even if it wasn’t necessarily a new strip or a one-shot. So far we’ve made it 10 days with brand new content, and I think that’s something to be proud of. What does the next two days hold? Well, to be honest, I’m not sure.
Our well is dry. We ran out of our reserved strips by day 6, and still we worked tirelessly to crank out new strips on a daily basis. Now we’re both frazzled, and tired, and terribly proud of what we’ve done, especially considerng that, at the rate that TP was going, we’ve posted enough strips to last until June of next year.
Seriously, though, I can’t honestly say if any strips will go up tomorrow or Wednesday. Even if they do, they may not be in color (I will not ask Dave to spend his Christmas holiday trying to stay in the lines). I hope that those few of you that read the site have enjoyed the last 10 days, and I hope that you’ll enjoy the next two as well, but don’t be disappointed if there isn’t a new strip or two up here.
